Sports Xtra @ Tidemill Academy Opening Ceremony - 21st March 2012

Sports Xtra recently played an integral role in the opening of the new £24 million Tidemill Academy in Deptford. The sun shone throughout the day, making for a fantastic afternoon of Futsal with Adam O'bree (technical manager at Futsal UK) and tag rugby with Anton Oliver (ex-All Black captain) on the schools new rooftop pitch.


The opening of Tidemill provided Sports Xtra with the perfect opportunity to showcase the positive work undertaken in school. This was reflected on the day by the successful relationship our regional manager, Matt Cross, has formed with the Academy, along with the positive effect his coaches are having on the children through the delivery of a well structured and engaging Physical Education.


All in all it was a successful day for both the Academy and for Sports Xtra and we wish them all the success in the future.
